About this project

This showcase brings the Indigenous Launchpad program to life through the founders it supports. Individual vignettes profile five entrepreneurs from the first cohort: Bradley Mianscombe (Mianscombe Advisory and Bookkeeping Services), Kyler Wilson (Kyler Wilson VO), Nikole (Creemaken Cultivations, youth programs), Sienna Fayangil (Minawa, post-consumer textile diversion), and Theron Morningstar (Indigenous Athletic Development Circle). Each shares what inspired their business and how Launchpad helped them move from a dream to a sustainable venture, rooted in culture and community.

A gala highlight reel ties the cohort together for the first Indigenous Launchpad showcase, where the entrepreneurs prepare to present on a national stage, closing on an invitation to start the journey at indigenousfoundation.ca/launchpad.

Indigenous-led change for the next generation. Launchpad accelerates Indigenous-led ventures with guidance, capacity, and opportunity. At Manscombe Advisory and Bookkeeping Services, we're rooted in bookkeeping and grow from that to help guide entrepreneurs to their goals. My name is Sienna Fayan-Gil. My company is Minawa, which means again in Plains Cree.

We work on on post-consumer textile diversion. What I do at Kyler Wilson VO is give a voice to the voiceless and shine a light on what's already there, Indigenous excellence. Hi, my name is Nicole. I'm the founder of Creemaken Cultivations, which is all about helping youth, giving them the tools, the resources, the workshops, so that they can excel in life.

My name is Theron Morningstar, and I'm the co-founder and CEO of the Indigenous Athletic Development Circle. been my mission to make sure no Indigenous youth feels alone on their journey through sport. Launchpad pairs mentorship and training to shorten the path to sustainability. Now they're preparing to present on a national stage. This is the first Indigenous Launchpad showcase.
