For Horizon Utilities’ 2012 sustainability-based annual report, Kitestring designed an interactive experience where readers could scan symbols in the printed report to launch video. We produced three pieces of content that expanded on the report, turning a paper document into something engaging.

About this project

Hamilton branding agency Kitestring created the 2012 Sustainability-Based Annual Report for Horizon Utilities with future forward technologies in mind.

By downloading the Horizon Utilities app, employees and the public at large could create an interactive experience out of the paper report by placing their smartphone over special symbols within the printed copy. This would launch videos that further expanded on what the text document outlined – and made the report a far more engaging, interactive experience.

We were thrilled to create three separate pieces of video content for this interactive report – short hosted segments that provide an overview into what makes Horizon a socially aware, environmentally conscious and economically responsible organization.
