Ladies and gentlemen, we are here on Ottawa Street in Hamilton on this beautiful sunny day for the Sew Hungry Festival. It's called Sew Hungry today. Why? Because it used to be Hamilton's fashion district, a lot of places, but today we've shut the place down. And in the name of street food, we are having a great time. Are we having a great time at Sew Hungry?
Are we not having a great time? Does Hamilton love street food? It is crazy. It is off the hook. 22 street food vendors are here. We have shut this place down. It's about 20 after 2 and some of these vendors are actually running out of food. Over here, ladies, how are you? How are you? Good, how are you? Are you having fun at the Sew Hungry Festival here in Ottawa Street?
Yes. And what are you eating right there? A pulled chicken. A pulled chicken. So if you have a lazy chicken, just pull it. Pull it along and put it in a sandwich. And which truck did this come from? That one. This one here, which is the Southern Smoke Truck. There must be 12,000 people in line up for this truck. I am not exaggerating.
How's it going, man? Good. How are you? It's going very well. How's it going so far at the Sew Hungry Festival Free as a Vendor? We've been slammed. It's been awesome. Are you out of food yet? No way. We brought the farm today. There's no way we're running out. We've been smoking for the last 38 hours. We have over 500 pounds worth of meat.
We're rocking. We're ready to go. Wow. We're going for the long haul right to leave. And what exactly have you been smoking? Well, the truck's going for the beef brisket. That's slow smoked on all natural hardwood. We use apple and pear wood from a local supplier. We also have pork shoulders that are on today and roaster chicken.
Good stuff. Can't wait to try me some. Good to see you, man. All the best and have a great time here. What a beautiful day for you, isn't it? It's fantastic. We're so excited. Awesome. Awesome. Good stuff. Sir, how are you doing? I'm back. Folks, from Duck Dynasty, my favorite show on A&E. Right here. It's Jace. It's Jace from Duck Dynasty.
How are you doing, sir? Not bad. You're so bad. A lot of celebrities here today at the Sew Hungry Festival. I'm just kidding because I'm bald as a cue ball, sir. I admire your hairiness, sir. God bless you, sir. It is hopping. There must be — I'm not kidding — there must be 7 million people here on the streets of Ottawa.
Ottawa Street in Hamilton. That's, of course, totally incorrect. And it's jam-packed, ma'am. You have your street food hat on, it looks like. Is this your street food hat? Yeah, I guess so. Yeah. It is. It is. And are you — you're in line for the southern smoke truck here now. Uh-oh. What were you looking for? I'm wearing a gorilla cheese.
Oh, they're in their — the lines are so crazy. People are lining up for the wrong trucks. That's the anarchy that's going on down here on Ottawa Street. It's madness, folks. There's too many trucks. Let's see what's happening here at Tony's Corner Streeterie. Now, apparently, this food is so good, you may have a heart attack.
That's how good. This food is so good, it comes with its own paramedics. That's how — that's how good this food is. They're like, "No, no, no, no. Don't do that. Don't do that." How's it going for you, big guy? It's going good. How are you, sir? Very well, very well. And tell us what you got going here. Are you Tony? I'm Tony's son, Johnny.
Tony's son, Johnny. No way. Come on. Big round for Tony's son, Johnny. Come on. How many sons does Tony have? Three. Three? No kidding. Actually, I'm Tony's fourth son. People don't realize that. Now, what do you got coming out the window here? Greek fried, feta cheese, olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, and jaziki sauce.
Wow, and that's what it's all about here on Ottawa Street today. Great food, great weather, great people. I think it's all a good time. Good to see you, Tony's other son. All the good stuff, my friend. Good stuff. Okay, we're coming down this way. Now, this truck here, this truck here is a very strange truck. We have no idea, no idea what this truck is serving.
Excuse me. It says Chi-Chi. I'm assuming it's Mexican. Hello, Chi-Chi? Chi-Chi, are you home, Chi-Chi? This is a safety feature right here. People don't realize this, okay? This is you got to keep back, okay? This cone means deliciousness, okay? Because right now, okay, not smelling the food. Right here, boom, all I can smell is food.
Very distracting, could cause an accident. That's why in Hamilton, safety first, okay? Here we go. Who's having fun? The crew at Buster's Sea Cove right in here. Look at these, look at these hard-working people. It is 100 degrees in there. Those are actually tinfoil shirts they're wearing. Sir, what's your name? Mike. Nice to meet you, Mike.
And Mike, what have you ordered here from Buster's Sea Cove today? Uh, fish tacos. Fish tacos. You are in the right place, my friend. And Mike, is this your first So Hungry Festival? No. No, so you're an old pro. What brought you back from last year to make you come down this year to the So Hungry Festival? Just all the great food trucks that you have around here all the time.
Yeah, yeah. And the girls. Come on, be on. Come on, Mike. Come on. You're cruising for girls. Come on, Mike. I know. I know he's cruising for… How about you, sir? Uh, girls. Girls as well. There you go. I was going to ask your name, but girls is your name. That's okay. That's all right. This is my TV agent, Jackson. This is the famous Jackson.
Jackson, are you enjoying the show, the food so far today? He is. He's a man of few words, but those words are powerful. And now, check it. Look at that going by. Look at those fries going by. These are some happy people. Look at that. I don't even know where they got those. Sir, nice hat. High five, buddy. High five. Right on.
Good guy. Good stuff. That's a very stylish man right there. If I was a lady, I'd be going after that guy there. That's all I'm saying. Look at this guy right here. Again, another bald man. Just want to rub that, sir. Rub that. Very good. I see your future here, sir. I see you enjoying lots of food at the So Hungry Festival.
Good for you. There you have it, folks. Here from the Ottawa Street in Hamilton, Ontario, the second annual So Hungry Festival. People are happy. Food trucks are happy. Dogs are happy. Everyone is just having a great, great time. I'm James Cunningham from 8th Street, and it's a pleasure to be here. Oh, I'm so sorry. I just punched him in the head.
I'm so sorry, sir. But he's still happy. You see? I just punched a man in the head. He is still in a good mood. That's why the So Hungry Festival is so important to the city of Hamilton. Because you can punch people in the head. Everyone's happy. You see? James Cunningham signing off for So Hungry. We'll see you again. Right on. No, thank you. Thank you.
